Discussion of the new lease’s standard, including demonstration of the recognition, measurement, and disclosure requirements. Overview of the post-issuance activities of the standard.
Objectives: Upon completion of this course participants should be able to:
- Identify important concepts in lease accounting including the appropriate lease classifications.
- Demonstrate the recognition and measurement requirements by lessees and lessors corresponding to the lease classification.
- Describe the disclosure requirements.
