Peculiarities of nonprofit accounting and reporting. Objectives of FASB’s ASU 2016-14: why was it issued. Who is affected and what are the main dispositions. Effects on different accounts and related disclosures. Effective date and transition guidance. Discussion of report models for different types of nonprofit entities. Objectives: Upon completion of this course participants should be able to:
1. State the objectives and main dispositions of ASU 2016-14 and explain its main dispositions.
2. Describe the new report model.
